What is Soil Boring Testing?

Soil boring tests are a crucial first step to any structural design. It is a subsurface investigation of the soil to determine the soil properties and soil strength

Borings are drilled to specific depths that has been determined by structural engineer depend on the size of the project, and special sampling tools are used to collect soil samples.

The standard penetration test (SPT) is an in-situ soil penetration test designed to provide information on the soil properties. At Calc Engineering we have the soil boring test truck that provides soil boring N-values up to 45 feet.

Why Bore Soil Testing

Calc Engineering conducts soil testing to ensure construction projects stand on a solid foundation. We assess the soil's composition and strength, allowing us to design secure foundations, optimize construction plans, and ensure compliance with safety standards, all while prioritizing the safety and longevity of your project.

Regulatory Compliance

Many building codes and regulations require soil testing to ensure safety and compliance with local standards.

When Soil Boring Testing is Recommended

01.

Building a New House?

02.

Adding a Structure to an Existing house?

03.

Having a Settlement in your house

04.

Are there Cracks on interior/exterior walls?

05.

If Cracks on asphalt or concrete slab at home

Calc Engineering’s vision is to provide excellence in innovative, smart, and cost-effective engineering solutions to create sustainable and resilient buildings.
